Music Director: DeeAnn Gorham
DeeAnn Gorham has served as choral director at Kavanaugh U.M.C.
since 1978.
DeeAnn’s mother, Annell B. Logan, began teaching her to play
the piano when she was five years old, and she has never stopped
playing! She is a Faculty member at Texas A&M Unversity –Commerce
where she teaches voice. DeeAnn attended TCU, then served as a choral
director for seven years in Edinburg, Texas. With Rev. Bill Slack's
support, she helped establish the children’s' choirs and bell
choirs in 1980.

Edwin
Walker has filled the Kavanaugh Sanctuary with music since 1982.
He holds a Bachelor’s of Music in Piano Performance from
Millsaps College, and a Master’s of Music in Piano Performance
from Southern Methodist University. He did post-graduate organ study
with Tom Froehlich, organist at First Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
Edwin is a court reporter for the Northeast Texas Foster Care Docket
and Sabine Valley Child Protection Court.
When he isn’t listening to a wide variety of music, he enjoys
cycling and workouts in his spare time
